We are seeking a highly skilled project manager to join the Bigfoot team. This position
will play a key role in enabling the launch of Bigfoot’s first product and gives the
opportunity to be part of ground-breaking technology that will improve the lives of
people with insulin-requiring diabetes.

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading cross-functional projects from
concept to commercialization. This individual will pro-actively create overall project
plans and detailed schedules and will manage the required activities to ensure
successful on-time completion. The Project Manager is responsible for day-to-day
leadership of their internal matrix team as well as interactions with applicable outside
vendors and will represent the team on project status reports and meetings. This
position requires initiative, motivation, communication and organization skills, as well as
the ability to create and manage an effective team environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Lead a cross functional project team in the creation of project deliverables and realistic project timelines.
    • Generate a detailed schedule capturing required activities and interdependencies.
    • Assess business risks and prioritize tasks ensuring efficient project execution.
    • Determine needed resources for project activities in collaboration with Functional Management and secure their allocation.
    • Delegate tasks among project specific team members and lead the team to execute
    • on objectives.
    • Coordinate and drive efforts with external vendors, including co-development and subcontracted development.
    • Develop project risk management strategies to ensure timely delivery.
    • Drive project execution through pro-active management and communication.
    • Conduct weekly status meetings, capturing progress and highlighting any issues.
    • Negotiate solutions to problems by influencing and communicating within and outside the project team.
    • Work across organizational lines in a positive and consensus-building manner.
    • Prepare and present regular updates for management on progress of project activities and commitments.

    It would be ideal of you also had:

    • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in medical device
    • Experience with design and implementation of Project Development Plans including scope, scheduling, and resourcing.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Project
    • Cross-functional team experience
    • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills for all levels of the organization
    • Organized, attentive to detail, and able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with competing deadlines
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a start-up or other fast paced environment
    • Experience with electromechanical devices
    • Experience working with Agile software development
    • Solid knowledge of Design Control

    Educational Requirements:

    • BS/MS in technical discipline
