Senior Product Manager

What is Bigfoot Biomedical?
Bigfoot believes people living with insulin-requiring diabetes deserve relief from its daily burden. We envision a world where the emotional, mental, physical, and financial burden of diabetes has been significantly reduced. We are passionately dedicated to delivering simpler, safer, and more effective solutions for life with insulin.
We are personally committed to the mission of improving the lives of people with diabetes through the application of smart technology. We bring deep and nuanced understanding of customer needs, demonstrated technical capabilities in developing and commercializing technology, and proven business acumen in funding and growing startups into profitable publicly traded enterprises.
What we are building at Bigfoot Biomedical
Bigfoot is building diabetes management solutions integrating data, software, smart devices, and people. This is your chance to join a small but very talented team!

Bigfoot is seeking a smart and driven Senior Product Manager who has experience building and launching world-class consumer health products. As a relentless advocate for the needs of end users, you will serve as the organizational "glue,” connecting the technical and business functions - including Commercial, User Experience, Engineering, Regulatory, Clinical, and Executive leadership - to define, build, and launch Bigfoot's first products and services at the highest level of quality. You will go high and low - synthesizing data and requirements to create a strategy, and diving into the details to develop the product. You will be the bridge between business strategy and product execution, leading upstream activities, and serving as a subject matter expert on Bigfoot’s products and services for the cross-functional team. You will ensure smooth transitions of the product through the development lifecycle, taking the product from concept through commercial launch. Ideally you are a systems thinker and adept at synthesizing executive input, competitive information, market research, and end-user/customer data to build amazing products that help transform the lives of people with insulin-requiring diabetes and also meet the goals of the business.

The ideal candidate possesses a combination of leadership, strong vision, deep analytics, great instincts, scrappiness, technical capabilities, business savvy, an inquisitive nature, and top communication skills — where you are comfortable presenting to an executive team, drafting a business requirements document, diving into the details to define user needs and product requirements, collaborating with UX designers and writers, running a working session with a cross-functional team, or creating a presentation for an impromptu pitch.
